Please follow the Application format.  Proposals should provide all information indicated on the Application form, and should be stapled but not bound.  The program budget should be detailed (i.e., include specific line items and amounts) and if printing or equipment costs are involved, indicate that at least two bids/estimates have been obtained.

PROPOSALS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED WITH SIXTEEN (16) COPIES.

Attachments may include project staff bios or resumes and a recommended letter of support from the Governor of the Pueblo or tribal program administrator.

FAXED OR E-MAILED PROPOSALS OR RELATED DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

PLEASE NOTE that if you plan to apply for a summer project, it is recommended that you apply at the March deadline, since the second meeting of the year is not held until sometime around mid-summer. The Board of Directors typically meets to discuss proposals and make grant awards four to six weeks following the proposal deadline, and funds awarded are usually available as soon as the award is made unless there are contingent circumstances.
